X-Ray Transmission Calculations

FILTRANS calculates the XUV and soft x-ray transmission (0.01 - 10 keV; 1.2 - 1240 Angstrom) of foils of any chemical element and of plastic membranes of arbitrary composition.

The transmission of a composite filter of up to three layers (including a mesh) can be calculated. The results can be printed, saved to a file, and graphically displayed. FILTRANS is a powerful and rapid tool for designing and modeling XUV and x-ray filters.
